As you all know, For reproduction and growth both males and females got two hormones and i.e Oestrogen and second one is testosterone. Both are necessary hormones for better functioning of the body. The level of Oestrogen in female are more as compared to men and similarly level of Testosterone are more in males as compared to women. But due to some reasons the oestrogen level increases in men and such symptoms are loss of muscle mass, fat increases in your belly and chest area, mood swings, hair loss, depression, sexual Problems and extreme tiredness.
Let us discuss five habits which is responsible for increase oestrogen level and how to balance hormone imbalance.
- The first habit which increases estrogen level in men is sedentary lifestyle/ lack of physical activity. In today’s world we are spending time in front of laptop, mobile, and other gadgets and not working physically due to which our activities becomes almost zero. Due to not any physical activity or inactive lifestyle your body fat increases and fat tissue contains an enzyme called aromatase which is responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen and increases estrogen level in males. The only treatment is to do physical activity like compound movement in strength training and i.e., Dead lift, squats, bench press, Military press etc. That will help you to hormone imbalance.
- The second reason for increasing estrogen in males is Stress. As we all know we are living our life in hectic and busyness which increases our stress . But as your stress increases the Cortisol level increases and cortisol and testosterone are enemies due to that cortisol increases and testosterone decrease and testosterone decreases then estrogen in males increases that’s why it is very important to manage our stress to manage our stress you can do meditation, massages, yoga or playing outdoors games.
- Third habit is Excessive drinking of alcohol it’s okay to drink occasionally but when you become habituated of drinking alcohol daily it creates negative impact on your testosterone hormone it can damage those cells of that helps in testosterone production.
