Delhi government agencies opened 350 liquor shops across the city with limited stocks and brands.Delhi switching back to the old policy on Thursday.VK saxena recommended a CBI probe for framing and implementation of new policy.An excise department official said that there are 350 stores opened in the city.He also added that more brands will be available in few days.
The new stores will run by four Delhi government agencies DSIIDC, DTTDC, DCCWS, DSCSC.Together they have been given 500 licens.There were both private and government stores which were also replaced by the private stores.There were plans to open “premium stores” by the end of the year and it’s size will be atleast 1000 sq ft.They have registered brands like black dog etc.After tge registration the brands had to follow the process.Tarun singh as a buyer at a liquor store in cannaught place and there was no discount available and everyone miss the discount said Singh.The customers in private stores will be missed and the people at the government run stores behave as humble as those private run stores did said Anshul chaudhary who was a buyer himself.
