Delhi zoo welcomes three white tiger cubs

There were three white tiger cubs were born at Delhi’s National Zoological Park said by zoo officials on August 24 that is on Thursday.Cubs and their mother were in good condition as confirmed by the officiaks of the zoo.This was the first time after 7 years when the tiger breeding get success.Cubs and their mother are under observation atleast for a month said the Zoo Official.They informed that they will be relased after they gain strength.

The cubs have been sired by vijay , a seven year old white tiger said zoo official.They also added the zoo last week lost a male white tiger who was about 16 years old.The cubs are under observation and they all are healthy.Their mother is also well and protecive about the cubs.The last time Delhi Zoo had a successful breed was on 2015.Rai said even after successful breed cubs still need special attention for few weeks.The zoo staff have to monitor them round the clock to make sure they are in good health.The Delhi zoo is the one of the conservation breeding of tigers and the birth of these cubs is a big step in that direction.

The visitors can be treated tp these cubs in the enclosure in about three months.The last time zoo tried breeding was 2020 where a tigress gave birth to two cubs.She died as soon as delivering the second cub and the third cub was still inside her.The two cubs she gave birth to, one of them died too in few hours and the second one survived for a week only.
