New Delhi April 09, 2020: The restaurant is not shying away from giving back to society!
With global numbers of Coronavirus infections on a constant rise, including India’s tally which has now crossed the 5000 mark, the national lockdown facilitated by PM Modi is truly the need of the hour. Many of us are fortunate enough to not have to worry about either our finances or consuming daily essentials, including food, during this lockdown. For the economically weaker sections of society, however, this privilege doesn’t exist.
In fact, many of them are daily wagers and labourers who depend on their daily income for basic necessities like food. Needless to say, the national lockdown has had a significant impact on their lives.
Thankfully, Kutumb Restaurant, located in North Delhi’s Rohini, has decided to put humanity above all and help such people out by serving them 1000 food boxes twice a week!
Shedding more light on their initiative, Aashish Arora, the founder of Kutumb Restaurant, said in a statement, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving, and we are truly blessed to have this opportunity to do our bit for the society and wish everyone good health and safety.”
