India got its first Diamond Trophy

Neeraj Chopra, a 24-year-old young boy from Haryana, Panipat, who gave India the first Daimond trophy on Thursday, September 8 in men’s javelin in Zurich.

He won the Olympic gold on August 7 last year in Tokyo, this season “he produced 88m-plus throws six times”, and he holds the national record of 89.94m, the Diamond League Finals can be considered as the most prestigious competition outside of Olympics and World Championships. Chopra was also awarded a Diamond Trophy, USD 30,000 prize money and a wild card for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
