It is not a common practice to own a house in a city like Delhi, and the rising property prices seem to be touching the sky. But now the dream of owing a house in Delhi will be fulfilled, Delhi Development Authority has launched housing scheme, under which 8 thousand flats has been launched for which people will be able to apply from 12th september. The flats included in the scheme were returned by the allottees in the earlier schemes of DDA for different reasons. In the housing schemes of 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2021, the number of these flats is more than eight thousand. To sell these flats, the authority had sent a proposal to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to come out with a housing scheme on a first-come-first-served scheme, which has been approved.
First of all, Narela flats will be booked completely online. In the first phase of this scheme, the location of three towers of Narela and about one thousand flats will be entered. When these are booked, then more flats in other locations will also be included in them. The reason for not including all the flats at once is that the DDA is also in talks with some security forces.
According to officials, this scheme will be applicable only in those places where more than 50 percent flats were not sold in the previous schemes. The sale of flats will be open to all.
