New Delhi: Alia Bhatt’s acting stars are expected to rise first in the film industry under the splendid craftsmanship of veteran filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali as the restrictions in place to control the COVID-19 crisis gradually start to evaporate, making way for the shooting of Bhansali’s much-awaited and equally anticipated film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ from the sets erected in the Film city.
“Sanjay Leela Bhansali was already shooting in Filmcity and his set is still there. So the possibility is that his movie will be the first to resume shooting with the necessary precautions, once the permission is granted by CM,” Ashok Dubey, General Secretary, Federation of Western India Cine Employees was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
Dubey added that sets have been covered by many filmmakers, and not closed altogether in the hope of resuming the film operations once the lockdown ends.
