The latest survey by the Ministry of Education (MOE) shows that session was held of SWAYAM portal between July 2021 to January 2022, About three crore students registered for various courses. Students always believed that the courses were like a stepping stone. Students were happy. Ramakrishna Pasumarthy discloses the actual growth rate from July 2021 to January 2022.In July 2021, 17.2 lakh students enrol which was increased in January 2022.The number of courses which were offered also increased. The number increased from 524 and 593. Ramakrishna Pasumarthy also discloses that which state have the maximum registration and their highest courses that are opted there. The most popular courses are internet of things, Developing the soft skills, The joy of computer using python.
Internet of things is the most popular course in Andhra Pradesh with 23,292 registrations. Developing the soft skills and personality is popular course in UP with 13,064 with registrations and The joy of computer using python is popular in Andhra Pradesh with 10,486 registrations. Many students used to take free course to enhance their learning about a particular concept. Students choose a particular course with 35 to 40 modules. Students get to learn a particular concept in details. Ramakrishna pasumarthy also discloses the challenges faced by them because of SWAYAM course. He revealed that there are two challenges faced by SWAYAM courses that is digital divide and the language barriers. He also told that government is working on expanding the digital scopes. They also translated into 11 languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telegu , Assamese , Punjabi and Odia.
