UP Bound train carrying migrants ends up in Odisha

New Delhi: Ferrying passengers from Maharashtra to Uttar Pradesh landed up in Odisha on Friday, leaving passengers confused. The train left from the Vasai Road station in Maharashtra on Thursday and was bound for Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh reached Odisha’s Rourkela without intimating the passengers about the change in the route.A senior railway ministry official in Delhi said, “We have decided to run few of the shramik trains on diverted routes. Some trains are diverted for Bihar via Rourkela yesterday to clear congestion,” the official said.
