Tirupathi Temple set to be opened after a gap of 80 Days!

The Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has announced that permission has now been granted for tonsure (removal of hair on the head) and conducting marriages!
The officials of TTD had a session with the press. They informed that the world-famous Tirupathi temple is all set to be reopened after a gap of 80 days during the lockdown imposition which was a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic.

TTD officials informed that during the 1st 2 days of reopening, the TTD staff and the local residents in Tirupathi will be permitted to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
From the 3rd day of reopening, devotees outside the city/state will also be permitted with the limitation of 6000 devotees to be permitted to have Darshan every single day.
Further, the TTD officials informed that the devotees can tonsure their heads as an offering at the Marriage Halls and the public is allowed to conduct marriages as well but with the restriction of maximum 50 persons permitted to attend the marriage function!
